Quality Coordinator

As a very profitable site producing circa 20,000 tonnes of product per year, we have continued to grow at an impressive rate, with those growth plans set to accelerate further still, we need an experienced, hands on and strong-willed Quality Coordinator to join our team in Suffolk.
 
BASIC SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000

JOB DESCRIPTION:Quality Coordinator - Technical Consumable, Industrial Manufacturing
 
As our Quality Coordinator you will be responsible for helping drive quality improvement through policy implementation and procedural change. You will encourage open promotion of a quality culture in the workplace and will be supported by a progressive and extremely approachable and realistic Head of Safety and Sustainability, and a senior leadership team who will welcome change and improvement across the site.
 
You will also be responsible for the following:
· Implement and manage our quality management systems, policies, and procedures.
· Maintain document control to enable effective communication and execution of quality, environmental and sustainable performance.
· Help ensure safe operating practices including appropriate control of contractors and permits.
· Train personnel on quality procedures and tools.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:Quality Coordinator - Technical Consumable, Industrial Manufacturing
 
You will be an experienced Quality Engineer ideally with good knowledge of REACH, COSHH, COMAH regulations. Looking to use your previous experience and Scientific, Mechanical, Chemical engineering-based work experience to help drive positive change and maintain our high standard of Quality on site.
 
In addition, you will ideally have:
· Ideally experienced in SAP or Oracle or similar modular based systems
· Awareness of regulatory frameworks (REACH, RFI, Proprietary MSDS systems)
· Able to develop and deliver internal training

We are a synthetic resin manufacturer based in the UK. We produce an ever-widening range of resins primarily based on unsaturated polyester and alkyd chemistry. We also manufacture a range of speciality resins with urethane, epoxy and acrylic functionality.
