We have an exciting opportunity for a QA/QC Engineer to join our Nuclear and Infrastructure Division based at one of our construction sites in Reading.
This is a temporary, 12- month position.
As a QA/QC Engineer, you’ll be liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project inspections and technical requirements have been met. You will be working on a large project within a strictly regulated environment – so it is essential that you have previously worked for, or gained experienced at, an organisation of a similar size.
The role will require the successful candidate to collate and analyse data, support with audits, and liaise with clients, so it is also essential that you have an eye for detail and enjoy analytical work.
Ideally, you’ll have a good level of education and will have an HND, HNC or equivalent (NVQ 4) in Engineering and / or Construction or be a time-served engineer.
In addition, you’ll have extensive hands-on experience in Quality Management Systems and Principles, a recognised auditing qualification, will possess CSWIP 3.1, as well as exposure to interpreting and accepting contract NDT reports on behalf of a business and be suitably qualified (PCN Level 2).
