Component Process & Repair Limited specialises in the repair and overhaul of gas turbine components for the aerospace and energy market sectors.
The role:
We have the following vacancy for a Quality inspector to join our exciting and growing business in Bognor Regis, West Sussex
Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and measuring precision components using various equipment.
- Conducting visual and functional inspections of finished products to ensure they meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure that products meet design specifications.
- Documenting inspection results, including non-conformances and defects, and reporting them to relevant personnel.
- Investigating quality issues and working with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Conducting audits of manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Participating in the development of quality control procedures and documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
- Collaborating with other quality team members to identify areas for process improvement and implementing solutions.
- Communicating quality issues and solutions to management, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Development & Improvement of Calibration Systems
- Training to enable candidate to become a company release signatory
- Demonstrated experience within a quality role would be an advantage
For the right candidate with the necessary experience, this role will evolve into the Quality Manager within one year.

Hours: 37.5 Hours- Monday-Thursday (4 day working week)
