We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Improvement Manager to provide support to the management and clinical team at Woodthorpe Hospital.
The role
- Developing and implementing clinical best practices, policies, and procedures
- Reviewing data on quality of care measures, such as infection rates and readmission rates, to identify areas for improvement.
- Providing assurance on our compliance with CQC regulation, ICB quality agenda and NHS(E) initiatives and national requirements.
As a private hospital the role will assist in monitoring and responding to our customer feedback and lead on monitoring a range of governance, clinical effectiveness, and patient safety activity, supporting the Head of Clinical Services (Matron) in delivering the quality agenda across Woodthorpe Hospital.

- NMC or HCPC Registered (Dip HE/Degree/RGN/RM or AHP)
- Previous experience in a Quality Improvement/risk management role is desirable but not essential
- Be able to lead Quality Improvement processes and initiatives in a health care facility
- Demonstrate knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements and current healthcare initiatives as well as reporting responsibilities for healthcare services
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of contemporary clinical risk management strategies
- Computer skills using the MS Office Suite and Web based reporting systems
- Ideally, but not essential, experience in analysing clinical information and data, creating written reports for various committees and other stakeholders and conducting serious incident investigations
