The post holder is also responsible for the event management and promotion of the QI Team activities, including arrangement and hosting of trust-wide improvement collaboratives, a schedule of training and coaching events – elements of which the post holder will be expected to deliver to teams and individuals themselves, particularly coaching teams with their Improvement Projects.

We have a plan that will deliver excellent health and care for future generations, working with partners to ensure our services are sustainable.
We make decisions that are best for long term health and social care outcomes for our communities
• Openness
We communicate clearly to our patients, families and our staff with transparency and honesty
We encourage feedback from everyone to help drive innovation and Improvements
• Integrity
We demonstrate fairness, respect and empathy in our interactions with people
We take responsibility for our actions, speaking out and learning from our mistakes
• Compassion
We take a person-centred approach in all our interactions with patients, families and our staff
We provide compassionate care and demonstrate understanding to everyone
• Excellence
We put quality and safety at the heart of all our services and processes
We continuously improve our standards of healthcare with the patient in mind
Be the key liaison/communication link between the Quality Improvement Team, the wider organisation and beyond, acting as an advisor for improvement queries, working closely with the QI Leads and Programme Managers to drive forward trust-wide Quality Improvement.
Frame and implement departmental level improvements e.g. link to BOSCA – supporting front-line teams with the opportunity to identify and contribute to Quality Improvements within their own area of work.
Foster networks and positive working relationships to promote the work of the QI Team, whilst working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to proactively identify opportunities for Quality Improvement.
Provide leadership in the project management of QI activities e.g. project initiation and engagement, setting timescales, milestones and risk management to overall successful project completion through the use of strong QI project management governance framework.
