My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team.

Quality Inspector Requirements:

- Proven track record as a Quality engineer / inspector, or, time served mechanical engineer

- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings

- Good understanding of Precision Engineering techniques

- Experience of working in highly regulated industry

- Experience in an ISO Accredited facility such as ISO 9001 / AS9100

- Lean manufacturing experience and other manufacturing quality tools such as SPC, Process Validation, Risk Analysis (FMEA), FAIR etc.

- Ability to identify causes and problem solving.

- Internal Audit Training

- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) intermediate level

Quality Inspector Duties:

- Responsible for the hands-on quality inspections of machined components and assemblies to ensure they meet the required customer and regulatory requirements in accordance with ISO9001 / AS9100 standards.

- Using the correct measuring equipment to check all aspects of part and fully finished goods meet required specifications

- Carry out "in-process" inspections in all departments on the shop floor

- Help to maintain and improve quality as part of the Quality team.

- Help prevent any non-conformance's

- Liaise with the Production team to develop and implement controls and improvements to reduce rework and reject levels.

- Work with the Quality team to identify and investigate non-conformance's and develop corrective actions, and improvements.

- Lead by example; engaging colleagues towards achieving continuous improvement and compliance.

- Work with the Quality team to conduct Internal Audits from planning through to audit close out to ensure business processes are appropriate and robust
