Excellent opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established, local company where you will have the chance to develop your career and work within a specialist team.
This company have been established for over 40 years, specialising within metal casting. Due to growth, they are currently looking for an Quality Inspector to work within their Castings Quality Engineering team.

Within this role you will be responsible for inspecting cast ductile iron and steel castings for turbo/manifold and general engineering sectors to maintain the company's high-quality standards. The role requires an attention to detail, thoroughness, and a degree of analytical thinking or problem solving. Excellent communication skills and ability to work on own initiative. Ability to read and follow inspection references, work instructions and quality documents relevant to customer and internal requirements.

The ideal individual will have experience as a Quality Inspector or Technician and is confident in visual/patrol inspections looking to join a well-established, family feel company.

The Role:

• Inspect and verify product quality, using visual and dimensional inspection methods, support the customer returns process, by evaluating the product quality of defects prior to their acceptance, complete inspection reports.
• £13.00 an hour, 40hrs a week, 6am to 2pm however flexibility given
• Holidays 25 plus BH, Life Assurance - 1 x salary upon hire and then 2 x after 12 months pension standard contribution after 3 months probation.

The Person:

• Hands on Quality Inspection
• Any engineering backgrounds considered
• Confident in visual/patrol Inspection
• Good written skills to record inspection information.
• Looking for a long term career opportunity.
