Salary A designer and manufacturer of safety-critical components sold to Aerospace and Ministry of Defence engineering businesses is now seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. Supplying OEMs and First Tier Suppliers globally, this business is experiencing a period of growth. In order to cope with this growth they are looking to bolster their quality team in order to ensure their standards are maintained while their volumes are increased.
Reporting to the Quality manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for Quality Inspection of all manufactured components on site throughout the manufacturing cycle, ensuring that processes are being adhered to and when possible, improved.
Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector:
Ensuring all components are manufactured within customer specificationsGeneration and completion of FAIRSOperation and Programming of CMM machinesCompletion of minor rework to non-conforming componentsCommunicating feedback to key personnelThe successful candidate will be an experienced Quality Inspector with an understanding of CMM operation and generation of FAIRS
