SalaryACR is recruiting for a market-leading and growing business based in Appley Bridge, Wigan to recruit a Quality Inspectorto join them on a full-time and permanent basis. This opportunity offers a varied and interesting role, progression opportunities and the ability to join a company with exceptionally low staff turnover.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in Quality Inspection; physically touching products and inspecting them for quality, specification and compliance. This role will cover goods in and goods leaving the business.
My client is a rapidly growing manufacturing/distribution business who have long-standing contracts and relationships with a huge customer base worldwide. They have seen year-on-year growth and have further expansion plans in place, including moving into a new modern office in 2024.
Salary & Benefits:
- Starting salary of £32,000-£35,000 per annum
- Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5 PM
- 23 days annual leave + bank holidays

What will be expected of you:
The main purpose of the Quality Inspector is to make sure products coming in and out of the business are of the quality expected, match specifications and meet compliance requirements.
- Inspect delivered goods for accuracy and quality, matching with specifications.
- Check product quality on the production line and in the repair sectors.
- Support continuous improvement for product safety and compliance.
- Assist in both external and internal QA audits and inspections.
- Verify correct product placement and stock accuracy through QA checks.
- Address quality issues with suppliers, initiate NCRs, and collaborate on customer complaint resolutions.

What we are looking for:
- Experience in Quality Inspection is essential
- Professional with strong communication skills.
- Proactive with excellent attention to detail
- Team player
- ISO9001:2015 & ISO9001/140001 knowledge would be an advantage
- Knowledge of compliance would be an advantage
- Clean criminal record - Successful candidates will be DBS-checked
