I am looking for a Head of Quality to join a leading Aerospace corporation. You will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the Quality function for the site. This role will be fundamental for the enhancement of products and services through the implementation of AS9100/AS9110, continuous improvement techniques, prevention methods and problem-solving tools.

Job Description
- Communicates Customer, regulatory, and organisational requirements to assure product quality, contract compliance, and Customer Satisfaction.
- Oversees effective documentation and implementation of the Quality Management System to assure compliance with Customer and regulatory requirements and the standards set.
- Implements the performance measurements necessary to effectively evaluate organisational performance and trends in product quality, services, Customer Satisfaction, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ); Uses results of performance evaluation to target improvement efforts.
- Assess Supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality to ensure desired levels of performance; utilise performance measures to target improvement effort
- Manage the Quality processes for the site and drive continuous improvement of systems to achieve cost-effective stakeholder satisfaction.
- Lead and develop the local quality team to increase individual and organisational technical competence.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering or related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of Aerospace Standards AS9100/AS9110, etc., as well as FAAEASACAAC Part 21 and 145 regulations.
- 3 + years of professional experience in Operational Quality Management.
- 3 + years of professional experience leading quality role as Quality Manager; trained auditor & AS9100 Lead Auditor Approved
- Six Sigma Green Belt or comparable experience expected
- Knowledge of different, relevant methods, techniques and tools in the field of quality such as Aerospace or Automotive Core Tools expected (DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, 8D, etc.)
- Experience in project and change management
