Role Title: Test Manager (Need Rail Industry Experience)
Location: Derby (Onsite 5 days per week)
Duration: 6 months
Shift: Standard 8hr Days
Responsibilities
- Communicate with site management team to ensure test activity is carried out according to the sales plan.
- Ensure resource is aligned with test plan
- Supervise and control daily operation and asset management systems.
- Integrate with customer for reconfiguration, changes and operational requirements.
- Analyze, forecast and manage operations and costs.
- Support preparation of annual operating budgets.
- Over-see engineering activities complying with customer operational requirements.
- Develop and train staff to ensure high skill levels and technical competence.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on employee development and planning initiatives.
- Assist in implementing LEAN concepts and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications/Experience
- 5 Years Management experience.
- HND/HNC or equivalent level of experience.
- 5 years knowledge of train systems and sub-systems
