AddressAbatec is recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Civil Engineering contractor working in the Rail sector. Our client is one of the regions busiest contractors, known for delivering challenging and diverse civil engineering schemes on time and to budget. The successful candidate will have experience of working for a Civil Engineering contractor, although knowledge of the Rail sector is not a necessity. We will also consider applications from Assistant Quantity Surveyors
As Quantity Surveyor you will:
- Maintain accurate records, control and reconcile costs and value, report variances against agreed performance, compliance and finance targets.
- Take control of change management and manage final accounts.
- Be responsible for subcontract procurement and managing their accounts.
Our client requires a Quantity Surveyor with:
- Previous experience of working for a Civil Engineering contractor
- Strong commercial awareness and acumen.
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
Salary/Benefits:
- £35,000 - £55,000
- Company car or £4,500 car allowance
- Company pension, paid annual leave, life assurance
