Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Manchester Airport Offices
Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 per annum, plus car allowance and company benefits

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at the Manchester Airport offices and here you will play a crucial role in managing the costs associated with construction projects, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for cleanroom construction projects.
Monitor and manage project budgets throughout the construction lifecycle.
Analyze costs and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
Contract Administration:
Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
Assess and negotiate variations to contracts as needed.
Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
Project Reporting:
Prepare regular financial reports for project stakeholders.
Provide updates on cost forecasts and potential risks.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks related to cost and contract issues.
Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Collaborate with the procurement team to source and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
Ensure all financial records are up-to-date and comply with company standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the building services industry.
- Strong knowledge of contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in relevant software applications, such as MS Excel and project management tools.
