Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and contributing to the successful delivery of Civil Engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for Civil Engineering projects.
- Procurement: Source materials, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
- Measurement and Valuation: Assess work progress, quantify materials, and value completed works.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts, handle variations, and resolve disputes.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
- Experience in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in structural or Civil Engineering projects.
- Skills: Proficient in cost estimation, contract administration, and project management software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in calculations and documentation.
- Professionalism: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
