Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. Your expertise in cost control and analysis will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects

- Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering to identify potential cost savings

- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints

- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions

- Prepare and negotiate contracts, including variations and claims

- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify any potential cost issues

- Provide accurate and timely reports on project costs, including forecasting future expenditures

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for clients and stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field

- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role

- Proficient in cost control techniques and analysis

- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

- Effective communication and negotiation skills

Ideally High End Residential experience required please. This role is perm , we do not recruit simply just for projects.

Pay: £50,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
