Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the financial aspects of our infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking developments in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quantity surveying duties for infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation and financial control.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to analyse and manage project costs throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of NEC contracts to oversee contract administration and ensure compliance.
- Provide strategic advice on cost planning, cost control, and value engineering.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve contractual and commercial issues effectively.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for project management and client review.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
- Proven experience in a quantity surveying role, demonstrating a successful track record in managing costs for infrastructure projects.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts is essential.
- Professional Membership of RICS or MICES is desired.
- Experience gained on highways or rail projects is beneficial but not essential.
