Based in East London, Barking and have been open since January 2014 however our experience spans more than 50 years combined. Over the years we have managed and completed various projects inside and outside of London for various clients such as housing associations and London councils.

About The Role:

The Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates, monitoring project costs, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

Duties:

• Prepare quotes for R&M + PLANNED projects.
• Prepare quotes for reactive works
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyse project specifications.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to gather project information.
• Review and evaluate contractor bids and proposals.
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to cost control and project progress.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficient in using cost estimation software and tools.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Skills:

• Extensive on-site knowledge.
• Extensive knowledge of general construction.
• Extensive experience working NHF rates.
• Fast with producing quotes
• Quick turnarounds with quotes
