My client are a highly regarded, award-winning national building envelope contractor recognised for their expertise in cladding, facades, glazing, and rendering. Their focus lies in delivering multi-faceted projects ranging from upgrading existing structures to handling complex multi-façade schemes.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the cost aspects of various projects. Your responsibilities will include cost estimation, procurement of materials, contract management, and budget control. Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.
• Collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop cost-effective plans.
• Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Providing financial reports and updates to senior management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel and project management tools.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
