The client is focusing on expanding operations and is seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join the team. MUST HAVE experience in Flat, Torch-On Felt Roofing, or Bitumen Roofing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for roofing projects.
- Conduct thorough quantity surveys and cost analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather essential project details.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements.
- Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction process.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in the roofing sector.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, including Flat, Torch-On Felt Roofing, and Bitumen Roofing, and industry trends.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Location:
The position is based in South West London, offering a hybrid work arrangement.
