SalaryAlma Personnel are working with their West Bromwich based manufacturing client to recruit for a highly organised, confident Quotations Controller to be based out of their site.
This position is being offered on an initial 6 month contract with a possible view to go permanent.
This position demands being proactive and able to work under pressure whilst working in a team.
You will be responsible to prepare quotes raised by engineering team as as for end of contract items, you will then process them. To provide a single point of contact for internal and external customer quotation administration and communication.
Liaise with service engineers, controllers, supervisors and Service Managers to maximize the effectiveness of service quotations to ensure that revenue and margin opportunities are optimized.
To maximize aftersales ad-hoc revenues and margin through the production targeted quotations
Continuously monitor outstanding quotations with customers and where necessary liaise with appropriate personnel.
Negotiate a commercially viable price which is acceptable to customers and in line with margin guidelines.
40 hours week, Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm, overtime available when needed.
