SalaryI am currently recruiting for an R&D Scientist to for an exciting opportunity. My client is currently building a new facility and are looking for an experienced scientist to join at the beginning of this exciting venture.
The R&D Scientist will work closely with the Product Management team to define specifications, plan builds and schedule milestones for the development of new products. This role will develop purification and analysis procedures and you will be involved in building and designing the new facility
Skills and Experience required.
Experienced Scientist with at least a Master degree based in cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology or Immunology (related subjects may also be acceptable).
Experience in the purification and production of protein products and a flexible approach on recovery/ purification of proteins from Recombinant and Native Sources for enzymes, antigens and antibodies with varying degrees of complexity.
Demonstrable experience on cell harvest, lysis, TFF, chromatographic methods, FPLC/ HPLC, PAGE and in-depth knowledge on protein analytics.
Experience with immunological assays such as ELISA or LFA is desirable but not essential.
Purification technologies for proteins, including antigens, antibodies and enzymes.
Experience of Downstream purification and transfer to regular production
