As an R&D engineer, you will have the chance to get an insight into a variety of business areas, to work in an international environment and to develop yourself, both from a hard and soft skills point of view. In the course of interesting and challenging global R&D projects with focus on Industry 4.0 and digitalization, you will work in close cooperation with a highly qualified senior team of R&D engineers. We are seeking an experienced professional in digitalization, PLM, 3D CAD, electrical CAD and product configuration. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving our digital transformation efforts and will be responsible for implementing and managing our product configuration, product lifecycle and CAD systems.

Your responsibilities
- Designing, building, and maintaining product configuration and (3D) CAD systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement digitalization strategies
- Ensuring seamless integration of PLM and (3D) CAD systems with other enterprise systems such as SAP and M&S
- Managing and maintaining CAD libraries, standards, and protocols
- Providing training and support to users and stakeholders
Your background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical/mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in PLM, ERP, and (3D) CAD systems
- Strong knowledge in digitalization, PLM, ERP, (3D) CAD and product configuration
- Excellent communication, project management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent in English and German
