Our school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for teaching Religious Education, a deep understanding of the subject matter, and the ability to engage students of all backgrounds and perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality R.E. lessons that promote critical thinking and a respect for diverse belief systems.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages open-mindedness, empathy, and a thoughtful exploration of faith and spirituality.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the R.E. department.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Demonstrated experience as a Religious Education (RE) Teacher at the secondary school level.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with educational best practices.
