Reablement Officer needed with London Borough of Newham

Location - London Borough of Newham

Duration - Initially 3 months

Hoursperweek - 36 hours per week

Salary - £18.76 per hour

Reablement officer needed with the London Borough of Newham to plan and assist the Service Manager, Senior Physiotherapist or Senior Occupational Therapist and other managers, in managing the delivery of all required rehabilitative services within their assigned area.

Description:

• As a Reablement Officer you will be required to identify, and commission non-complex equipment and adaptations required to support the individual to maximise their independence.
• Reablement officer must attend and contribute to one-to-one supervision and appraisal sessions with the Line Manager and ensure that they are informed of any circumstances requiring management oversight including issues around risk, mental capacity, and safeguarding practices.
• Reablement workers must complete Assessments under the Care Act 14, create Reablement Intervention Plans with Goals setting, complete reviews and update support plans for those needing ongoing services.

What is required?

• Recognised Qualification in Health and Social Care or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or be working towards a recognised qualification in Health & Social Care
