Real Estate Finance Paralegal – Manchester
Paralegal – The leading commercial Real Estate Finance team of this highly regarded city centre firm is looking to hire a number of paralegals to support experienced members of the team. Our client is prepared to consider candidates with residential conveyancing, remortgage or commercial property experience with ideally some exposure to lending / finance work, whether for the lender or borrower. That said, this is not an absolute pre-requisite. They will consider candidates who have no previous experience, but with strong academics, who are looking to develop experience in Real Estate Finance.

- Previous Experience: Commercial property paralegal or residential property paralegal ideally with some experience of working with lending documentation. However, the team are also open to consider candidates with no prior experience in this area.

The commercial property finance team is an established and highly regarded team. The team already has an enviable client list of lenders including large institutional lenders, banks as well as peer-to-peer lenders, bridging lenders and so on.
They have several positions to fill and are looking for candidates interested in working in commercial property finance. The role is very varied and would include:
- Drafting security documentation under supervision
- Drafting mortgage reports under supervision
- Updating clients, agents, brokers and introducers on the progress of their matters
- Ordering documents from HMLR.
- Ordering bankruptcy searches, priority searches and company searches.
- Drafting and submitting Companies House documentation.
- Preparing files for completion and at completion stage
- Undertaking various searches.
Those who have previous experience working with lending and finance documentation will be at an advantage, though it should be stressed that the firm is considering a broad range of applicants including no prior experience as excellent training will be provided.
Training and support
The intention is to recruit candidates who can develop as the team grows and expands. In other words, the successful candidate will not be expected to run a caseload without supervision and direction. You will be offered all the training and direction to ensure you develop sound expertise going forward.
