We are recruiting for a specialist lender in the residential bridging loan market, the company is expanding and looking for a talented underwriter to join their lending team in London.

Role Overview:

As an Underwriter, you will be at the heart of our Real Estate credit business, assessing and approving residential bridging loan applications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that their lending decisions are sound, compliant, and in line with our company’s risk management policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate residential bridging loan applications.
• Conduct thorough credit and risk assessments, property valuations.
• Analyse financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents.
• Make informed lending decisions within established guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with brokers, borrowers, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of underwriting decisions and supporting documentation.
