Reception Teacher - Kingston - All Girls Prep - Summer Term

Job Title: Reception Teacher

Location: Kingston, London

Start Date: April 15th to July 5 th  2024 (Summer Term Only)

We are seeking an experienced, fully qualified Reception Teacher to join our team at an All Girls independent prep school in Kingston for the duration of the Summer Term. This is a delightful school to teach with high levels of academic excellence and small class sizes. Candidates who are available and commit to the entire Summer Term who hold either QTS or EYTS are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to Reception students, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Create a nurturing and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, exploration, and a love for learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement a well-rounded curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students.
• Establish effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students' progress and achievements.
• Foster a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
• Strong understanding and experience of working with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine passion for the well-being and development of young learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators
• ECTs (Early Career Teachers) and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
