Salary Details:Grade B: £20,340 to £20,628 per annum (FTE: £22,737 to £23,058 per annum)
Hours of Work:37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year, term time only (8.00 am to 4.00 pm daily with 30 minutes for lunch – Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am to 3.30 pm with 30 minutes for lunch on Friday). We are open to applications from people that would be interested

We are seeking to appoint a friendly and highly professional Receptionist. This is an extremely important role as the successful candidate will be the ‘face of Cranbourne’ and the first point of contact for our visitors.
Applicants must have a wide range of interpersonal skills and be flexible with the ability to work on their own initiative. This is a varied and interesting role and job duties will include: answering the telephone and dealing with general enquiries from parents and members of the Cranbourne Community, welcoming visitors to the school (sometimes for large meetings), supervising the Student Receptionist – dealing with messages from staff, using SIMS (students’ database) and assisting with general admin tasks as required.
Reporting to the Headteacher’s PA the job holder must be able to stay calm under pressure and show discretion at all times. Applicants must be organised with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office products.
