Actual Salary: Beginning at £18,731 per annum (dependent on experience)
Permanent: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Required hours per week: 7:45am – 4:15pm (4pm finish on a Friday)
Galley Common Infant School

Galley Common Infant School is a successful, happy and caring school. We are looking to appoint a School Administrator, who will work under general instruction and guidance, handling a range of administrative processes and tasks that are covered by established procedures, but is able to prioritise their own workload. We require someone who can develop documents from drafts or can amend standard formats on a computer. The successful candidate will input and retrieve information on SIMS and on financial packages using initiative where necessary and will operate word processing packages and spreadsheets. Specific training in the job or previous relevant experience plus a short induction will be provided as required.
We welcome applications from a wide range of backgrounds and as such, the post would be equally suitable for someone with experience of working in a school or someone without previous experience, looking for a role in education.
