Part-Time Receptionist – Job Share
Working 2 days a week (Wednesday and Thursday)

The Role
Due to retirement, we are looking for a second Receptionist to job share this important role. You will be the first point of contact either by phone or in person for our visitors, clients, and callers and, therefore, are essentially the face and voice of our firm providing initial first impressions and representation of our brand.
Ideally, we would like someone with a couple of years’ experience as a Receptionist to meet and greet our clients in a professional, yet friendly and approachable manner.

Qualifications
- Minimum of GCSE Grade 4 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Knowledge/Abilities/Skills/Experience
- Knowledge of software packages – Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience of working as part of a team in a professional office environment
- Experience of a reception function in a professional accountancy firm (desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good telephone communication etiquette
- Organised and resourceful
- Client focussed
- Active Listener

Some of the tasks you will do:
- Greet visitors, making them feel welcome and offering refreshments
- Keeping reception area and meeting rooms tidy and presentable at all times
- Answering incoming calls and re-directing or taking messages
- Responsible for the diary management of the meeting rooms, booking them and prepping them for the next meeting
- Arranging in-house lunches with the caterer
- Coordinate all incoming and outgoing post
- Facilities management for reception – franking machine, coffee machine and other consumables
- Other administrative miscellaneous duties
