Page Personnel are currently recruiting for a Reconciliations & Payments Analyst to join the finance team of a successful financial services company based in London. This is a temporary, ongoing position designed to support the team with their current workload. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial services, particularly in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in reconciliations and payments.

Description

As Reconciliations & Payments Analyst, your key duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
• Processing payments at a high volume.
• Manipulating data.
• Performing statement reconciliations.
• Performing reconciliations of bank activity.
• Be involved with improvement initiatives with the department and the company.
• Maintaining financial security by following internal controls.
• Answering queries by researching and interpreting financial data.
• Offering general support across the finance team.

Profile

The successful candidate should have:

• 1-2 years of experience gained within a similar role.
• An academic background in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and databases, mainly Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Will be immediately available to start and open to a temporary role.

Job Offer
