We are currently on the hunt for an enthusiastic Recoveries Officer to join our bustling team in Birmingham. If you've got a knack for juggling numbers and a passion for debt recovery, this could be the perfect role for you!

As a Recoveries Officer, you will be at the heart of our operations. You'll be closely monitoring the aged debt position across our UK agent network, providing hands-on support and guidance to Relationship Managers. You'll be in charge of controlling daily account positions to avoid late deposits of customer transaction payments, ensuring the smooth operation of our retail business. Additionally, you'll take ownership of escalation cases and engage with external recovery vendors as necessary, developing and implementing innovative recovery strategies. You will also need to be familiar with small court processes and you will be required to attend court on a business need basis.

Hours of Work: Full-time, details to be discussed during the interview.

Recoveries Officer Requirements:

* Fluent in English and Bengali.
* At least 2+ years of experience in credit control, recoveries, and/or collections.
* Experience in B2B relationships and understanding trading accounts.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
* Exceptional numeracy skills and a results-oriented, proactive approach.
* You Should be familiar with the small claim court process
* You will be required to attend court on a business need basis
