Whether you are at the beginning of your career or looking for something new, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your experience, knowledge and skills within the health and social care sector. As a Recovery Coach, you will support people with issues including housing and mental health, towards recovery and a brighter future. Our Recovery Coaches support people to:

  • Maintain accommodation/tenancy or secure accommodation
  • Manage physical health and wellbeing
  • Manage mental health and wellbeing
  • Maximise income, reduce debts, or find paid work
  • Prevent loneliness and isolation
  • Stay safe

Your role will be working with service users in the Floating Support Service across Bath and North East Somerset. We work closely with other agencies to overcome the barriers that can limit people from achieving their goals and aspirations.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in mental health and/or housing services, and an understanding of the challenges that people using these services may experience. You will support clients to understand their needs and empower them to address some of the challenges they face. We are looking for people who:

  • Are motivated to work in this sector.
  • Are willing to learn.
  • Can be flexible in their approach.
  • Are passionate about supporting others to build independence.

Due to the geographical coverage, it is desirable that you have access to a mode of transport at all times (mileage is payable).
