About the job

We are looking for a talented Senior Digital Product Analyst to drive the data and insight behind the next generation of our platform and product journeys, including our Online Reservation and Leasing products. Using state-of-the-art, enterprise-level tools our Digital Product Analysts work with almost every area of the business, so there is no shortage of opportunities to make an impact.

We’re committed to providing the tools, insights, and intelligence to every one of our retailer partners to make a successful and profitable transition to digital retailing.

You will play a crucial role in analysing customer user behaviour and product performance to extract actionable insights that can inform and drive the decision-making process within our product teams. You will work closely and seamlessly within these product teams, challenging and influencing decisions through data-informed recommendations, particularly when evaluating product changes and identifying new opportunities for enhancement, you’ll have the autonomy to influence and have your voice and data be heard.

Your responsibilities will extend to designing and analysing AB tests, effectively translating key results into actionable insights that contribute to the continuous improvement of our products. An essential aspect of your role will be to democratise insights across the entire product function and the broader business, actively sharing your learnings and celebrating successes with stakeholders.

Additionally, as a valued member of our community, you will contribute to the growth and knowledge-sharing within the wider analytics and data science community at Auto Trader UK, fostering an environment of continuous learning and collaboration through knowledge shares and peer learning initiatives.

What we're looking for

At Auto Trader, we believe that every candidate brings a unique blend of talents. If you find yourself ticking some, but not all, of the requirement boxes, we'd love to hear from you.

• Familiar with best practice across enterprise-level tools such as Google Analytics 360 and Snowplow
• Experience as a Product/Digital Analyst (or similar role) in a commercial environment
• Hands-on experience in delivering robust AB/multi-variant testing projects
• Experience with SQL and extracting large volumes of data from a data warehouse, Python would be beneficial 
• Joining as a Senior, we would appreciate your ability to be an analytics mentor who is confident in coaching others in product/digital analytics
• Experience with segmentation or customer data platforms , and their capabilities

We're offering a salary of £40,000-£60,000, and a flexible benefits package to support your health and well-being.
