Job description

We are looking for a Recovery Nurse to work as part of a theatre team at a leading private hospital organisation offering care across a range of medical and surgical interventions in Central London. This Recovery Nurse role comes with an excellent salary of up to 36,000 and benefits package.
The overall responsibility in this Recovery Nurse role is to provide critical care to your patients' post-surgery. Reporting to the Theatre Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that a high standard of care is always maintained within the Theatre department.
In your first few weeks in this Recovery Nurse role, you can expect to:

  • Provide critical care to your patients' post-surgery.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of high standards of clinical practice in relation to post-operative care.
  • Plan the individual care of patients and ensure this care is provided according to strict guidelines.
  • Educate each patient in all aspects of their post-operative and after-care plans.
  • Act as a support to junior members of staff and offer them guidance when necessary.

To apply for this Recovery Nurse role, you will need to be a Registered RGN with an NMC pin number or ODP with HCPC Registration. You will also require the following:

  • Registered RGN with an NMC pin or ODP with HCPC registration
  • Experience working in a theatre setting across multiple specialities.
