The Mid Essex Recovery College is a brand new service that will provide a safe space for people to learn new skills, expand on existing ones, and attend courses developed to support mental health recovery. Our courses are all co-produced by experts by experience (individuals with lived experience of mental health), as well as individuals with professional experience of working for mental health services.
We are now looking to recruit experienced mental health and wellbeing trainers (bank) to lead on the development and delivery of this programme in the Mid Essex area.
This is a fast-paced and demanding role in which you will both lead on the delivery of training (online and in-person) and coordinate a small network of external trainers, and volunteer facilitators, to expand and develop our current offer.
You will be self-motivated, able to work cross organizational and have a good working knowledge of the Mid Essex Recovery College and the demands on staff wellbeing. You will be experienced in developing and evaluating training and educational interventions, and comfortable engaging and networking with a wide range of organizations and staff teams.
The main duties of the role include:
• Leading on the delivery of a range of mental health and wellbeing workshops and trainings for Mid Essex Recovery College.
• Coordinating and developing a small team of external wellbeing trainers.
• Expanding the current programme of training to ensure it is accessible and relevant to workforce needs.
• Evaluating, monitoring, and reporting on the programme, keeping a network of stakeholders up to date and fully engaged.
Provide have developed a Workforce Solutions team that aims to support the whole organisation in relation to staffing. Some of you will be familiar with the term ‘bank’, Workforce Solutions works on the same basis but offers greater flexibility.
