Anderson Knight Recruitment are working with a client based in Glasgow to recruit an experienced Recruitment Adviser to join their team on a permanent basis, this is a full time role with hybrid working. In this position, you will form part of a wider recruitment team and take responsibility for managing the full recruitment life cycle for a specific area of the business.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of the HR strategy, particularly focusing on recruitment.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the organisation's recruitment function efficiently.
- Manage the Recruitment Team, providing guidance and support.
- Revise recruitment processes and procedures to align with relevant legislation.
- Support day-to-day recruitment activities and processes.
- Collaborate with operational colleagues to understand recruitment needs and align job adverts with organisational and service requirements.
- Partner with Leaders to create and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
- Prepare, analyse, and present detailed professional recruitment reports, offering solutions and recommendations.
- Conduct training sessions for operational colleagues on recruitment processes, HR best practices, and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Regularly review ATS functionality and processes, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate and enhance recruitment selection processes to ensure effectiveness.
- Develop novel techniques for candidate sourcing and recruitment.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the recruitment function, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Provide advice to colleagues on recruitment and selection matters.
- Establish and maintain external relationships for networking in career events and job fairs.
- Collaborate with marketing and communication colleagues to tailor recruitment campaigns to operational service needs.
- Stay informed about legislative changes and recruitment best practices, implementing appropriate updates within the organisation.
- Collaborate with HR and operational colleagues to review exit/leavers data, exploring ways to enhance colleague retention through recruitment and selection adjustments.
- Promote a positive image of the organisation throughout the recruitment and selection process.
- Market the recruitment website to reflect a positive image of the organisation and recommend improvements.
- Undertake any other duties relevant to the role.
Criteria
- Atleast 1-2 years experience in a recruitment role
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to use own initiative, coming up with creative ideas to improve processes
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
