In this role you will apply your expertise to implement employer branding activities that showcase our open culture and brand truths. Share insightful recruitment data to support strategic decision making and help optimise our talent acquisition processes.
We offer the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to contribute from your home location, however regular attendance in our London office is required and occasional travel to regional offices is required.
Here's what you will be doing:
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager to develop the employer brand within Howden, Corporate & Commercial to achieve recruitment goals and develop talent pipelines in critical locations.
- Use your creative flair to translate our employer value proposition into compelling narratives encouraging deep candidate engagement.
- Pro-actively identify and suggest innovative resourcing solutions, taking full ownership of the recruitment process from initial vacancy briefing to candidate on-boarding.
- Own the recruitment and selection process by reviewing all applications, conducting initial screening and provide insightful commentary to Hiring Managers regarding candidate suitability.
- Cultivate talent pools for future opportunities and engage with high potential individuals and assess their long term fit. Build a robust personal network of talent that will be the catalyst for future growth.
You need to bring with you:
- Prior experience of in-house high-volume recruitment within insurance, financial or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with Workday or similar candidate management system.
- Familiarity with Textio, Odro and Broadbean is advantageous.
- Proven experience sourcing diverse talent via passive methods like targeted headhunting, alongside active engagement through talent pipelines, application systems and database searches.
- Possess sharp analytical skills, extracting insightful trends from data to inform strategic decisions and optimise the talent acquisition process.
- Good standard of general education (GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English).
