Recruitment Advisor - Northern Ireland (18055)

Due to internal progression, we have a fantastic opportunity to join Barnardo's Recruitment team as a Recruitment Advisor. Offering flexible working but based at our Belfast office, we are offering a permanent full time contract.

As a Recruitment Advisor you will be the key point of contact for our Northern Ireland based roles, offering a range of advice and administrative support to a range of hiring managers. As you'll be supporting our HR colleagues for data reporting, having previous experience of preparing Annual and Article 55 Equality Commission returns would be an advantage. Some essential skills include:

  • Experience of delivering high volumes of varied?administrative work in a pressurised environment.
  • A good understanding of recruitment?practices and recruitment related legislation is required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise a large workload, allowing you to effectively manage high volume and specialised recruitment.
  • Excellent communication skills both internally as you liaise with recruiting managers and externally, liaising with candidates and external suppliers.
  • As use of the recruitment system will be a large proportion of the work involved, previous experience of learning and extensively using new systems is required.

On a day to day basis, you will be working alongside the Recruitment team (based across the UK) ensuring that our applicants' experience of the recruitment process is a positive one. As a Recruitment Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for a number of vacancies at any one time, including Children's Services, Retail and Corporate vacancies while promoting best practice to our Hiring Managers. While supporting managers with their vacancies, you will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance is the utmost priority in all Recruitment and Selection activity.
