Salary: £32,076 - £33,024
Hours: 37 hours per week (part time or job share would be considered)
Location: Work base to be confirmed with successful candidate, role includes a mix of office/ working from home, as well as travel across the Westmorland and Furness Council footprint as required.

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic Coordinator to join our Care Services Recruitment team, focused on attracting, engaging, and supporting our candidates throughout their recruitment journey, ensuring a positive experience into the Council.

Care Services is the in-house provider of care and support services for adults, and individuals living with learning disabilities and autism, across Westmorland and Furness, with a workforce of over 1000 people.

About this opportunity

You will work closely with the wider recruitment team and our Service Managers to develop and implement effective candidate attraction initiatives, leading on advertising campaigns, managing everyday vacancies and attending both external and internal recruitment specific events to promote our current vacancies and provide candidates with more information around our career pathways and development opportunities across Adults Social Care.

This role will involve working with and supporting our candidates at every stage of their journey, managing a continuous pipeline of interest, supporting them into roles within Care Services, this will involve matching the right candidates to the right roles across our Services.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a someone with a passion for customer service, with experience of key recruitment processes, including shortlisting, interviewing and candidate screening/ assessment, alongside an understanding of pre-employment clearances. It would be beneficial to have experience in a similar sector e.g., Health and Social Care or Education. You will need to the ability to prioritise and deal with a varied workload, at time working to multiple deadlines.
