Recruitment Consultant

An opportunity as arisen for a Recruitment Consultant to join a dynamic and rapidly growing recruitment enterprise that plays a key part in the provision of the best talent solutions into the digital public sector. Along with a salary of up to £25,000 per annum, you will also receive a commission scheme, performance-based bonuses, training and apprenticeship opportunities, company events, a pension scheme and reduced parking fees.
Joining the team in St Albans, you will be instrumental to identifying, attracting, and placing skilled professionals who are vital to the advancement and success of a vast and broad range of projects that help run the central government, local government, health sector, defence sector, transport sector, and more.
As Recruitment Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing support to customers, helping qualify requirements and assisting with the sourcing and qualification of candidates.
• Coordinating interviews, ensuring that the correct process is carried out.
• Coordinating the new starter onboarding process.
• Supporting the management team in preparing documents, contract admin, website registration and CRM updates.
• Providing a high standard of customer service, both on the phone and face to face, developing positive relationships with all clients and candidates.
• Being the ‘go-to’ person for resolving queries/issues.
• Developing and maintaining an understanding of client organisations, their industry sector, function in the marketplace, culture, and environment
• Maintaining regular contact with candidates through follow-up phone calls
• Sourcing, telephone screening, scheduling registration interviews, and interviewing candidates
• Utilising various sourcing platforms to proactively find suitable candidates

We’re looking for a Recruitment Consultant with the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a client or customer-facing role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills along with the ability to multitask, Ability to prioritise and be an effective problem solver.
