We're looking for a dynamic and results-oriented IT Recruitment Consultant to join our newly established Tech recruitment, focusing on Contract and Permanent placements.
The Orion Group are expanding their recruitment solutions by focusing on tech recruitment. As part of a new division, you will be key part of their growth and the superb career prospects that brings.
This role will be 80% delivery from Orion's major accounts and 20% business development.
In this role, you will:
Become the expert: Build a deep understanding of the IT landscape, specializing in specific tech skills or industry sectors.
Hunt and attract: Proactively source and engage passive and active candidates through various channels, including online platforms, networking events, and referrals.
Assess and match: Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to identify the best candidates for each position, ensuring a seamless fit for both client needs and career aspirations.
Build trust and advocate: Cultivate strong relationships with both clients and candidates, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the recruitment process.
Negotiate and close: Secure placements by navigating offer stages and negotiating competitive salaries and benefits packages.
Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously research industry trends, emerging technologies, and salary benchmarks to keep your expertise sharp and your placements successful.
You're the perfect fit if you have:
Proven experience in IT recruitment (2+ years)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse individuals
A proactive and results-oriented mindset
Proficiency in recruitment software and online platforms
Passion for the IT industry and a thirst for knowledge
