Education People Ltd are an independent teaching agency based on Whiteladies Road in Bristol. We have been established for over 15 years and have a great reputation. Due to continued growth we are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team.
The desk you will be running is already established, we are looking for a motivated, innovative person to grow the desk whilst servicing our current clients. This is a busy, fun role where building great working relationship with candidates ( teachers and TA’s) and clients ( schools) is key. It is fast paced and diverse, this is a 360 role.
The role includes:
Managing the database of schools by fulfilling their staffing requirements, with daily and long term bookings. Placing the right teachers into the right school
Regular contact with schools via phone calls, emails and site visits
Resource new candidates through advertising, sourcing (CV searches) and recruitment days’
Working hours 7am to 5pm on a shift basis (7am-3pm, 7am -4pm, 8-5pm) with on call 1 night per week and 1 weekend in 4.
Responsible for developing strong client and candidate relationships and will be involved in the entire recruitment process- from advertising to screening and interviewing to prospect cold calling, visiting candidates and placing candidates
Maintain the company’s reputation for providing a quality, personal and professional service to staff and clients
Working to fair targets to place teachers and support staff into bookings. This is done by consistency and offering excellent service.
Supporting the team and getting stuck in as and when needed
We are looking for someone who;
Has a ‘can-do attitude’

Driven and works well under pressure
Comfortable on the phones making calls to new and existing database
Able to work to deadlines
Available full time
Team player
Lives within 10 miles of the office (early starts are required)
Experienced required:
Experience of working in a sales role/ to deadlines/ under pressure, ideally within Education, Social Care or similar environment.
Must be able to work towards sales targets
Must be self-motivated, organised and a strong team player
Full training will be given by our experienced team
