Job Role: Refugee Hub and Event’s Coordinator
Salary: £26,500
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Kingswood

The Role:
This role is working within our Refugee Resettlement team. You will be coordinating and developing the hubs model across South Gloucestershire to ensure guests experience seamless access to support. The role is a first point of contact for Hub community enquiries, registration, and administration, coordinating bookings and providing a welcoming experience. You will carry out contract data processing and administration in line with agreed KPI’s.
Responsibilities include:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the hubs, respond, and advise on crises and safeguarding issues.
Provide 1-2-1 support to refugees or other vulnerable people/families.
Oversee the management of the key stakeholders to ensure facilitators, speakers, moderators, mentors, and volunteers are effectively utilised.
Prepare and deliver regular management information and presentations for SGC, the Southwest Strategic Migration Partnership and others to promote the work locally, regionally, and nationally.
Qualifications / Requirements:
A valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel to work.
Understanding of the complex needs of Refugees who have experienced trauma and knowledge around Refugee's or Asylum Seekers / Immigration
A strong and clear understanding of confidentiality, professional boundaries, and safeguarding.
