- Refugee Hub Coordinator (Charity Sector)
- Starting Salary: £26,500 per annum
- Location: Kingswood
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Participation in an on call rota 1 in every 4 weeks earning and extra £100 per week on call)
- Valid driver's licence and access to vehicle, business insurance required
The Refugee Hub Coordinator Role:
You will be coordinating and developing the hubs model across South Gloucestershire to ensure guests experience seamless access to support. The role is a first point of contact for Hub community enquiries, registration, and administration, coordinating bookings and providing a welcoming experience. You will carry out contract data processing and administration in line with agreed KPI's.
Responsibilities include:
- Support with the day-to-day operations of the hubs, respond, and advise on crises and safeguarding issues.
- Provide 1-2-1 support to refugees or other vulnerable people/families.
- Oversee the management of the key stakeholders to ensure facilitators, speakers, moderators, mentors, and volunteers are effectively utilised.
- Prepare and deliver regular information and presentations for SGC, the Southwest Strategic Migration Partnership and others to promote the work locally, regionally, and nationally.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Understanding of the complex needs of Refugees who have experienced trauma and knowledge around Refugee's or Asylum Seekers / Immigration.
- A strong and clear understanding of confidentiality, professional boundaries, and safeguarding.
- Experience working with vulnerable adults
