Refugee Resettlement and Migration Service - Supporting New Beginnings
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of refugees? Our Refugee Resettlement and Migration Service is on the lookout for a dedicated Assistant Team Manager to lead the execution and development of our Homes for Ukraine programme.
In this key role, you will play a pivotal part in applying professional knowledge and experience to interpret and recommend policy, resolve complex issues, proactively anticipate problems and deliver solutions which enhance the quality and efficiency of services.
As an Assistant Team Manager, you will provide advice and guidance on complex issues, while also overseeing and supervising Senior Casework Officers and Service Development Officers. Working closely with our Refugee Resettlement and Migration Specialist and Head of Housing, Migration and Resettlement, you'll ensure the smooth and effective delivery of services.
You will also play a role supporting across the variety of resettlement programs supported by the wider team, including UKRS, Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy, Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme, asylum seeker dispersal and Community Sponsorship.
We're looking for a successful candidate who holds a management qualification level 4 or possesses equivalent skills and experience, with a minimum of two years in a relevant role. Your leadership skills will be crucial in supporting and developing our highly skilled and professionally qualified staff. As a clear and effective communicator, you'll exhibit excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise work and set goals for supervisees and team members.
