Refuse Loader Job Description:
As a Refuse Loader, you will play a vital role in waste management and collection services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working collaboratively with a team to ensure efficient waste collection operations
- Walking to and from designated drop-off locations, ensuring prompt and timely collection.
- Adhering to strict health and safety protocols, especially when working on busy streets alongside HGV Class 2 vehicles.
- Maintaining a polite and professional demeanour when interacting with members of the public during collections.
Requirements:
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the walking and heavy lifting involved in refuse collection.
- Excellent team player with the ability to work harmoniously with colleagues
- Awareness of health and safety procedures to ensure personal and public safety.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally and courteously with members of the public.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting job requirements.
Refuse Loader Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 0700 - 1600
