Enfield Council has embarked on an ambitious programme of regeneration and housing development and we are hoping to recruit an experienced lawyer to act as our Senior Regeneration and Commercial Property Lawyer. The successful candidate will play a lead role in facilitating the delivery of our regeneration plans by working with colleagues across the Council. The postholder will carry a varied caseload, including development agreements, commercial and residential property transactions, planning and highways issues, compulsory purchase matters, governance and ancillary issues involved in larger projects.

We are looking for individuals who are accustomed to working at pace in a busy team.
Prior local government experience is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and drafting skills and the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to a variety of audiences. An interest in and enthusiasm for local government is important, as is the desire to work as part of larger project team.
