Job Title: Regional Account Manager
Location: Field based, covering Southwest England
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 basic with commission circa £6,750 per quarter
Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pm

About the position of Regional Account Manager
Working for a specialist lender going through a period of significant growth, it’s a superb time to join the organisation. As a Regional Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing relationships with mortgage introducers, intermediaries and applicants, to originate new lending opportunities in line with the business strategy and growth plans.
Responsibilities for the role of Regional Account Manager
- Originate, manage and develop relationships with mortgage intermediaries, introducers and applicants within your region.
- Meeting and exceeding agreed targets across buy to let mortgages and bridging finance by managing deal flow and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
- Arranging face to face appointments and managing your diary, with the support of the internal sales team.
- Responding to new business enquiries via telephone and email, and recording these interactions appropriately on the CRM system, whilst delivering an exceptional level of service to third parties.
- Developing an in depth understanding of products, criteria, lending policy and broker portal to be able to train intermediary partners and handle enquires efficiently.
- Complying with TCF, Responsible Lending and company policies
- Attending industry roadshows and events when required
- Visiting Head Office when required
- Remain up to date on competitor product offering and market conditions, providing feedback internally for further product development.
Experience and skills required for the role of Regional Account Manager
- A strong knowledge of bridging finance and/or buy to let mortgages.
- Experience in a similar field-based role will be essential
- Excellent sales and presentation skills
- Proven track record of success in a sales environment
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to meet set targets in agreed timescales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
