The Role: Regional Account Manager
Region: Central London
This is a home-based role and the successful applicant must be located within the region
We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Account Manager to join our highly respected and market leading Intermediated Distribution team supporting advisers in Central London. The successful candidate will be working on a top performing panel with a strong supporter base which delivered target in 2023 and YTD 2024. You will be supported by a Sales Support Executive, Pension and Investment Business Development Managers and our award-winning technical team to promote our Pru and M&G Wealth propositions including PruFund and our M&G Wealth MPS and platform.
Prudential is part of M&G plc and is continuing its journey to become a dynamic, digital and highly competitive provider. We are already very successful in our chosen markets and have ambitious plans for the future. You will join a well-established team reporting to the Regional Sales Director and deliver on sales revenue targets through the distribution of Prudential products to local adviser firms. The overall package is competitive with an uncapped bonus and high earning potential if you are performing successfully.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
  • To deliver sales revenue target for regional sales team across our proposition
  • To help retain Funds under management
  • Client retention
  • Take all reasonable steps to make sure your business area fulfils its external regulatory, legal and industry obligations
  • Use your judgement to strengthen our positive risk and control culture, by identifying, assessing and managing risk within your business area

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Relevant professional qualification (CII/PFS Level 4 Qualified or equivalent as a minimum)
  • Several years of experience in Intermediated Distribution
  • Previous experience working for a Life Co/Asset manager
  • Strong presentation skills and good knowledge of Microsoft suite of digital applications
  • Experience of regulated sales environments
  • Working knowledge of industry best practice, good network/links with external bodies and individuals on the same field
  • Working knowledge of life and pensions products, markets and competitors
  • Working knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislatory frameworks
